be fair!Now, globalization can be fair! is the claim of mynetfair. For this goal we want to enthuse many companies.

With the imprint of the be fair! - seal companies signalize their willingness and commitment to support the central vision of mynetfair concerning fair and sustainable globalization.

The preconditions for authorization of use of the be fair! - seal on products are:

  • the company shares the objectives of mynetfair concerning environment-, nature- and climate-protection as well as a fair market access* and
  • the company got already involved with supporting and contributing to projects in the fields mentioned above or
  • alternatively, the company donates 100 EUR per product p.a. to the project „Planting Orang-Utan living trees! A new forest for Orang-Utans at Borneo!“ of the WWF to support hereby 1 hectare (10.000 m²) natural living space by afforestation (Protection of species and climate by CO2-reduction) or
  • alternatively, the company proves, their products are being produced CO2-neutral

The commitment will also be highlighted on the profile of the company on mynetfair.

* In general, mynetfair reserves the right to award the be fair! - seal to a product or company. The use can be denied without further specification of reasons.

 

 

Concurrently, mynetfair stands for fair market access and anti - corruption. Hence, small and medium sized companies from developing countries have the chance to take part in globalisation and to create business networks, e.g. in exporting. The direct and therefore sustainable contact without intermediary trade is substantially facilitated.

Since mynetfair focuses on decision makers in the consumer goods sector projects can be addressed concertedly. In the detailed categories (e.g. fish, textile, sweets…) it is possible to inform about current initiatives, support programmes and innovations, e.g. how procurement, assembly and production of products can be organized fairer and more sustainable.

Other applied examples are:

  • The purchasing manager of fish at a retail-chain now knows where to buy fish based on the standards of sustainable fishing (i.e. MSC-Seal). Concurrently, for example the WWF can present its latest project of species protecting fishing and acquire sponsors.
  • The head of production of a company catches up on the machinery which operates particularly resource saving.
  • The procurement manager of textile or the designer gets information about where to buy a high quality product from a developing country in which the producers get fair market prices.
  • A company can emphasize its renunciation of child labor.
